Let me share a little about myself

Emily Suzuki, LPC

Psychotherapist

I am a mixed race, cis-gendered woman. My pronouns are she/her/hers. I received my Bachelors of Arts at Rutgers University in 2010 and completed my Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at the Antioch University in 2019. I am fully licensed to practice in New Jersey and Pennsylvania and I am based in Central NJ along the river, where I grew up. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my loved ones, being outdoors, looking out to the horizon and adventuring in new and familiar places.

I am a therapist who doesn’t believe in quick fixes. True change is slow and steady. In a safe and secure environment, our curiosity has space to explore, and our self awareness can deepen. I believe profound healing happens in relationship with ourselves and with others, and that each and every one of us is of the nature to heal and be whole. My work is an intersection of my earth based spirituality, Buddhist teachings and Western neuroscience. We are here to care for each other, and in doing so, we can find deep transformation and peace.
